KB Farm is owned by the husband and wife team of Nick and Sabrina. The farm was originally founded in Huntsville, AL in 2010, but relocated to sunny Aiken, SC in 2019. Come visit us if you happen to be in the area!

Sabrina Byrum - Owner/Breeder/Trainer
Sabrina is the 'horse' person in the family, having been born with the horse obsession. Starting at age 10, she rode hunter/jumpers for 15 years, including competing on the Miami University Equestrian Team while at college. After earning her Master's Degree in Technical Communication (and spending years without owning a horse), Sabrina custom bred for an Oldenburg x TB cross sporthorse and was thrilled with the resulting filly. At that time, she began to study warmblood bloodlines (particularly Oldenburgs and Hanoverians) and decided that someday she would open a breeding farm dedicated to producing high end dressage and jumping horses with a focus on amateur-friendly temperaments. Sabrina now rides primarily dressage, and she has an interest in retraining off the track thoroughbreds for a career in dressage. Sabrina is also heavily involved in animal rescue. KB Farm is always hosting new foster animals! If you would like to know more about fostering or adopting animals, please contact us!

Nick - Owner, Photographer,
& Maintenance Man Extraordinaire!

Having met Sabrina while studying at Miami University of Ohio, Nick eventually married into the horse obsession. He can be spotted on any one of his numerous pieces of farm equipment - whether it's a zero turn mower or a tractor or a 4 wheeler. He's become quite the expert on grass/fields maintenance, tree removal, and manure redistribution. He is also an amateur photographer, having captured most of the images on this website. In 2014, we rescued/rehabbed a very skinny palomino QH gelding named Jake, and he is now Nick's trusty "husband" horse.

Nick and Sabrina have numerous non-equine pets, including 4 resident dogs and a cantankerous pet pig named Millie. We love our menagerie!

Gracie, Nov 2009
In memory of Monaco ("Gracie") who tragically left us in 2010. She was Sabrina's inspiration to breed warmblood sporthorses and is greatly missed. Monaco was out of a Native Dancer thoroughbred mare and by the gorgeous Oldenburg stallion Mannhattan.
